Job summary

Shura is assisting a Government Agency by seeking 3x ICT Project Managers for a fixed-term contract to 30 June 2027 with a possible extension. You will lead complex ICT transition workstreams, coordinate delivery plans, and manage governance, risks and business readiness across multiple teams.

Applicants should have demonstrated success in Australian Government ICT transitions, strong governance practices, and baseline security clearance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex ICT transition or transformation projects within Australian Government.
• Strong project management experience across planning, governance, risk, dependencies and delivery.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across business, technical, vendor and delivery teams.
• Experience in ICT infrastructure, cloud, shared services or ICT separation/transition programs.
• Baseline clearance.

Job description

Our client, a Government Agency, is looking 3x ICT Project Managers for an initial contract until 30 June 2027 with a possibility to extend by a further 2x12 months. This role is to Lead and coordinate complex ICT transition workstreams, managing delivery, governance, risks, stakeholders and business readiness.

In this role you will perform the following tasks but not limited to:

• Lead and coordinate key workstreams within a major ICT transition program.
• Manage project plans, schedules, milestones, resources and implementation activities.
• Coordinate business, technical, vendor and project teams to achieve delivery outcomes.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, governance reporting and project documentation.
• Support ICT transition, business readiness, technology adoption and organisational change.

To be successful, you must have the following skills / experiences:

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex ICT transition or transformation projects within Australian Government.
• Strong project management experience across planning, governance, risk, dependencies and delivery.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across business, technical, vendor and delivery teams.
• Experience in ICT infrastructure, cloud, shared services or ICT separation/transition programs.
• PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, Agile or equivalent project management qualifications highly regarded.
• Baseline clearance.
