The successful candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with 10+ years in civil construction, including project management. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams on water/sewer and transport projects, driving profitability, stakeholder engagement and high-quality delivery across a transparent, accountable culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Over 10 years’ experience in civil construction with 2+ years in project management.
• Experience on multi-disciplinary civil projects including water/sewer and transport construction.
• Collaborative management style to build a close, outcome-focused team.
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership and negotiation skills.
• Stakeholder and client engagement experience.

• Deliver programming, staging and construction methodologies across projects.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and standards.

About the role

You will provide onsite engineering services and technical support to fearlessly strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements across your portfolio of transport and water infrastructure projects. • Water / Sewer upgrades
• Road infrastructure for local councils and state government
• Civil infrastructure

You will be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and proven technical expertise to:

• effectively deliver programming, staging and construction methodologies
• achieve compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards
• manage team outputs across profitability, efficiency and human relations
• lead monthly assessments and forecasts of project’s financial performance
• build effective relationships with repeat clients and consultants
• ensure a safe working environment.

The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with:

• a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• over 10 years’ experience in the civil construction industry with over two years’ experience specifically in project management
• experience in multi‑disciplinary civil projects including water/sewer and transport construction
• a collaborative management style to build a close, outcome focused team
• strong commercial acumen, leadership and negotiation skills
• stakeholder and client engagement experience.
