Job summary

Hindmarsh in Adelaide is seeking a Project Manager to lead a challenging new construction project. You will ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to high quality, safety and environmental standards while managing client relationships.

The role requires 10+ years in major construction, a white card, and a civil engineering or related degree. You will drive KPIs, cash flow, and commercial awareness across a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Experience delivering projects over $20 million.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, codes and legislative requirements.
• Advanced using construction software such as MS Project, Aconex or similar.
• Experience and capability in the use of Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects on time, on budget, and to quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Establish and drive execution against detailed project KPIs, milestones and commercial goals.
• Lead the entire delivery team, ensuring integration of site, design, commercial and administrative components.
• Be the final authority on all project communication and documentation to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead the team in establishing accurate project cash flows and manage revenue and expenditure.
• Drive commercial awareness across the team and understand site actions impact on financial performance.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring on-site environments are clean, compliant and safety-focused.

The Opportunity: - Project Manager Construction Adelaide office

We are currently looking to appoint a Project Manager to join our busy Adelaide Construction team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of a challenging new construction project. You will deliver the project with effective management of time, cost, safety, environment legislative, financial, industrial and quality based contract requirements, ensuring the contracted completion date is met and effective client management.

You will:

• Deliver assigned projects on time, on budget, and to specified quality, safety, and environmental standards.

• Lead the entire delivery team, ensuring integration of site, design, commercial, and administrative components.
• Be the final authority on all project communication and documentation issued to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead the team in establishing accurate project cash flows and proactively manage revenue and expenditure.
• Drive commercial awareness across the team — instil understanding of how site actions impact financial performance.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring on-site environments are clean, compliant, and safety focused.

About you:

This role is ideally suited to someone with:

• 10 + years' experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Demonstrated capacity delivering projects over $20 million.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, codes, and legislative requirements.
• Advanced using construction software such as MS Project, Aconex or similar.
• Experienced and capable in the use of Microsoft Pro
