Job summary

Hindmarsh is seeking a site-based professional to assist in developing and monitoring construction programmes, coordinating technical activities, and managing subcontractors on major projects.

You will liaise with project teams, consultants and engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with plans, specs and safety standards, while maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a Bachelor level degree in construction or project management, engineering, or equivalent trade experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and monitor detailed construction programmes and schedules.
• Experience coordinating site activities with multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and monitoring detailed construction programmes and schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate and schedule technical activities on site while ensuring construction complies with plans and codes.
• Manage subcontractors and service suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, high-standard work within timelines.
• Liaise with project teams, consultants, architects, and engineers to resolve technical issues and maintain alignment.
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, drawing registers, specs, and compliance records.
• Support a strong safety culture through active participation in site safety initiatives and adherence to HSE requirements.

Required skills and experience

• Assist in developing and monitoring detailed construction programmes and schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate and schedule technical activities on site while ensuring construction is carried out in accordance with plans, specifications, relevant codes, and quality standards.
• Manage subcontractors and service suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard within project timelines.
• Liaise with project teams, consultants, architects, and engineers to resolve technical issues and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, drawing registers, specifications, and compliance records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Support a strong safety culture through active participation in site safety initiatives and adherence to HSE requirements.
• Recently completed Bachelor Degree in Construction or Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent trade experience
• Previous experience in a site based role
• Understanding of the principles of engineering, construction and architecture
• Construction White Card & Asbestos Awareness
• Previous experience using systems such as AutoCAD, CHEOPS
