Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services in Melbourne seeks an experienced Project Manager - Identity & Access Management (IAM) to lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic IAM initiatives across enterprise-scale infrastructure.

You will drive governance, regulatory compliance, and large-scale application onboarding, coordinating with cyber risk, audit teams and external partners to ensure a smooth transition into BAU.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex tech, cyber security, or IAM programs.
• Hands-on delivery across IAM domains: IGA, PAM, SSO/MFA, RBAC.
• Experience onboarding large applications in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management.

Responsibilities

FinXL is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Identity & Access Management (IAM) to lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic IAM initiatives across enterprise-scale infrastructure. Operating within an APRA-regulated environment (CPS 234 / CPS 230), you will drive key security capabilities, regulatory compliance, and large-scale application onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Lead complex IAM projects spanning Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Application Onboarding at Scale: Drive structured onboarding programs for applications aligning with core identity controls.
• Governance & Regulatory Alignment: Ensure project execution strictly adheres to APRA CPS 234, CPS 230, and PCI requirements while coordinating with Cyber Risk, Internal Audit, and External Compliance teams.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Partner with product owners, enterprise architects, security engineering, and external service partners to facilitate smooth transition into BAU operations.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience successfully delivering complex technology, cyber security, or IAM transformation projects.
• Proven hands-on delivery experience across core IAM domain areas: IGA (Joiner/Mover/Leaver, Access Certification), PAM, SSO/MFA, or RBAC.
• Track record in delivering large-scale application onboarding programs across enterprise technology environments.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial services regulatory frameworks, specifically APRA CPS 234 and CPS 230 expectations.
• Strong risk-mindset and RAID management skills, with demonstrated capability in navigating audit and compliance remediation programs.
• Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and vendor partner oversight capabilities.
