Job summary

A national skills training organization is seeking a VET expert to lead the development of accredited training products. The role offers a flexible, remote-first environment and involves collaborating with industry stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance. Ideal candidates will have significant knowledge of assessment and training packages, strong project delivery skills, and exceptional communication abilities. This is an opportunity to influence nationally recognised training reform that addresses industry needs.

Job description

This is the ideal role for a VET expert who loves turning complex policy into practical, high-quality training solutions! This is your chance to shape nationally recognised training products that directly respond to industry need—while working flexibly from anywhere in Australia.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the development and co‑design of accredited training products
• Apply national VET frameworks including TPOF, AQF and ACSF
• Ensure alignment with Qualifications Reform and quality design principles
• Develop Companion Volume Implementation Guides (CVIGs) and educator support materials
• Provide technical advice to external writers and contractors
• Engage RTOs, educators and industry stakeholders through consultation and validation
• Contribute to training package scoping, rationalisation and quality assurance
• Coordinate compliance checks and ensure consistency across products

What You’ll Bring

Even Better

• Experience in ICT, Finance (FNS) or Business (BSB) training packages
• Familiarity with Asana, HubSpot or GenAI tools
• Experience working on government‑funded programs
