Job summary

Downer is seeking a Project Manager Support Officer in Canberra (ACT) to assist the LC4S Branch on the LAND 4140 BMS integration project. The role requires solid project management knowledge and leadership to support high-level duties in a complex, strategic environment.

You will work with a cross-functional team, manage schedules, risks and budgets, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, within-scope delivery and compliance with governance and regulatory

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience.
A recognised project management or related qualification.
Current and relevant project management experience.
Leadership of an integrated, multi-disciplined project team.
ICT project leadership experience desirable.
Understanding procurement, commercial and engineering management processes.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and management of a cross-functional project team coordinating project activities including strategic planning, governance and HR management.
Accountable for team outcomes, with clear communication, performance standards, and personnel development.
Manage schedule, risk, budget and resources; prepare briefings, submissions, reports and returns.
