Job summary

Defence Australia is seeking a System Engineer – Land C4 for Canberra, NV1 security clearance. The role covers design and development to support LAND 4140 objectives, with system requirements, threat analysis and integration planning.

Your responsibilities include documenting program OCDs, risk management, and engaging with Defence stakeholders, including ADF and APS, to ensure timely delivery of LC4 projects.

Qualifications

• Eight years of Systems Engineering experience in Defence projects.
• Systems Engineering qualifications with NV1 clearance.
• Experience engaging with Defence stakeholders (ADF/APS/contractors).
• Familiarity with One Defence Capability System is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and manage project capability documentation within the engineering discipline.
• Lead risk reduction activities and manage requirements setting.
• Support environmental scans and engagement with industry and DSTG.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across CASG, Land C4, and Army projects.
• Contribute to acquisition activities including risk management and cost estimation.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across project teams.
