Kerman Contracting is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Site-Based Team. This role will see you coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects and participating in planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating Non-Process Infrastructure projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a brand-new project for a Tier 1 Mining client.

Your Roles, Duties and Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Review drawings, plans, specifications, schedules and reports for projects, engineered systems, technical equipment or components and address design issues
- Maintain the Project Quality Plan site systems
- Assist in identifying changes in the scope of works and communicate these changes to the commercial team
- Coordinate onsite inspection and testing activities
- Coordinate MDR documentation onsite
- Liaise with client quality representatives as required
- Participate in Site Project Progress Meetings
- Perform Quality checks on all completion documents from the contractors and staff
- Maintain the NCR register and coordinate the responses to the client/subcontractors (external/internal NCRs) while ensuring corrective actions have been completed on time
- Participate in periodic site quality audits
- Regularly communicate with Perth Head Office on-site QA/QC issues/progress
- Work with other disciplines to provide compliance with the contract requirements
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, head office engineers, consultants and contractors to resolve technical queries
About you:
To be successful for the Project Engineer role you will have:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably civil or mechnaical background
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within Construction
- Experience in working with multiple discipline projects
- Experience with NPI or Non-Processed Infrastructure projects will be highly regarded
