Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty seeks an experienced MEP Services Engineer for a major Sydney station project. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire services from installation through commissioning, working with designers, specialists and delivery partners on site.

The role requires a bachelor degree in Building Services/Electrical or Mechanical, at least four years of relevant experience, and strong BIM and contractor-management capabilities on complex

Qualifications

• A Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering bachelor degree, or equivalent credentials with extensive site engineering experience.
• At least four years as a MEP or services engineer on major buildings or infrastructure, including stations.
• Knowledge of NCC/BCA, AS/NZS standards and NSW transport technical specifications.
• Practical Navisworks, Revit or other BIM capability.
• Strong contractor management, negotiation and stakeholder communication.
• Current entitlement to live and work in NSW.

Responsibilities

• Oversee services installation, testing and commissioning across station structures, underground areas, services buildings and platforms.
• Review shop drawings and coordinate BIM models to identify clashes and construction issues early.
• Manage contractor delivering HVAC, power, hydraulics, fire protection and control systems.
• Develop inspection plans, test packs and compliance records against transport requirements and NSW standards.
• Resolve interfaces with structural, civil, architectural and rail systems teams while protecting programme milestones.
• Review safe work methods and risk assessments and reinforce site WHS practices.

The Opportunity

• Knowledge of NCC/BCA, AS/NZS standards and relevant NSW transport technical specifications.
• Practical Navisworks, Revit or other BIM capability and construction management platform experience.
• Strong contractor management, negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder communication.
• Current entitlement to live and work in the role location.
