Job summary

Webuild is leading the Parklife Metro JV to deliver the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project, and we are hiring an MEP Senior Project Engineer to oversee installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at St Marys Station.

You will coordinate with civil, structural, rail systems, and subcontractors while reviewing designs, managing schedules and safety, and ensuring seamless integration across disciplines for a landmark infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex services installations (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire and communications).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven track record as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer delivering MEP works on major construction/infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MEP works at St Marys Station.
• Provide technical engineering support to construction teams and subcontractors.
• Review and coordinate MEP designs, drawings, specifications and construction methodologies.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and design discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure MEP works are integrated with civil, structural, architectural, and rail systems.
• Support development of construction methodologies, staging plans and work packages.
• Monitor progress, risks and subcontractor performance against the program.

The Opportunity:

Employed by Webuild , Parklife Metro is seeking an MEP Senior Project Engineerto join our team based atSt Marys.

As an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for St Marys station.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of MEP works within the St Marys Station
• Provide technical engineering support and guidance to construction teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Review and coordinate MEP designs, drawings, specifications, technical documentation and construction methodologies
• Identify and resolve technical issues, design discrepancies and construction constraints in a timely manner
• Ensure MEP works are coordinated with civil, structural, architectural, rail systems and other project disciplines
• Support the development and implementation of construction methodologies, staging plans and work packages
• Monitor progress of MEP works against program, identifying risks, delays and opportunities for improvement
• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, progress and compliance with project requirements

Criteria :

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience with complex services installations, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire and communications systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer delivering MEP works on major construction, infrastructure, rail, building or similarly complex projects
