Job summary

Parklife Metro JV, based in Sydney, is delivering a landmark rail project in Western Sydney and seeks an MEP Supervisor to oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting and ELV systems on-line-wide works.

You will coordinate with diverse contractors, review technical submissions, ensure compliance with codes and standards, and drive safe, efficient MEP delivery on a high-profile infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of MEP supervision experience, preferably in metro/railway station projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, and handing over MEP systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, firefighting, plumbing and ELV systems.
• Coordinate with MEP contractors and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and material submittals for approval.
• Ensure MEP works comply with local codes, metro authority standards and project specs.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems.
• Collaborate with civil, structural and architectural teams to resolve interface issues.
• Attend progress meetings and report on MEP status, risks and mitigation plans.
• Maintain site records, permits and inspection logs; ensure HSE compliance.

The Opportunity:

Employed by Webuild , Parklife Metro is seeking an MEP Supervisor to join our team based at Badgerys Creek.

As an MEP Supervisor, you will oversee the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works for Linewide.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, firefighting, plumbing, and ELV systems.

Coordinate with MEP contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with project schedules.

Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for approval and implementation.

Ensure MEP workscomply withlocal codes, metro authority standards, and project specifications.

Identifyand resolve technical issues related to MEP systems.

Collaborate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to resolve interface issues.

Attend progress meetings and report on MEP work status, risks, and mitigation plans.

• Maintain accurate site records, work permits, and inspection logs.
• Ensure HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) compliance on-site.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent delays and hazards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensureworkers follow safety protocols.
• Supervise the testing and commissioning of MEP systems before handover.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and consultants for approvals.
• Ensure proper documentation and as-built drawings are prepared.

Criteria :

• 5+ years of MEP supervision experience, preferably in metro/railway station projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, and handing over MEP systems.
