Job summary

Aequalis Consulting Pty is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team delivering a major energy project in Queensland’s Surat Basin. The role spans the full project lifecycle from planning and scheduling to procurement and delivery, within a culture that values technical capability and collaboration.

The successful candidate will support engineering activities across construction, monitor progress and costs, and coordinate with site execution teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas or energy projects.
• Site-based project environments experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing planning and scheduling activities including construction tracking and reporting.
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Coordinating engineering deliverables and supporting site execution teams.
• Monitoring project progress, forecasting and cost performance.
• Supporting procurement activities and subcontractor coordination.
• Identifying project risks, issues and improvement opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Working closely with stakeholders across engineering, construction and client teams.
