Job summary

Aequalis Consulting Pty is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its high-performing commercial team on large-scale energy and infrastructure projects around Brisbane. You will partner with project and commercial leaders to safeguard margins and ensure financial accuracy and contractual compliance.

In this role you will lead cost planning, forecasting and monthly reporting, prepare budgets and tender documentation, oversee subcontract procurement, variations and claims, and provide

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial/QS roles in energy/infrastructure.
• Strong contract knowledge (EPC, NEC, AS, etc.).
• Proven ability in financial modelling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leading cost planning, forecasting and monthly reporting.
• Preparing budgets, BOQs and tender documentation.
• Managing subcontract procurement, bid analysis and recommendations.
• Administering variations, claims, and contractual entitlements.
• Maintaining registers and commercial documentation to high standards.
• Advising project managers on cost, risk and commercial strategies.
