Job summary

Eptec Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the field team in Wivenhoe, QLD, delivering remediation and protection projects across infrastructure assets. You will drive safety, quality and on‑time completion in line with contract requirements and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating QA/QC, managing budgets and coordinating with site staff, clients and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
• 3–5 years' experience in Asset Remediation, Civil Construction, Infrastructure or Defence environments.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• NACE 1 or 2 certification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead field team to deliver projects safely, on time and in compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Prepare project plans, schedules (Gantt), and technical specifications for minor projects.
• Coordinate QA/QC, logistics, reporting, subcontractors, equipment and project administration.
• Maintain project briefs, schedules, action logs, budgets and performance monitoring.
• Interact daily with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to provide technical support.
