Job summary

Infrastructure People seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead civil infrastructure, remediation and blasting/painting projects across NSW. You will work with the Project Manager to drive delivery from planning through to completion on multiple sites.

This role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or related field, proven project delivery experience, strong subcontractor and stakeholder management, and a commercially minded approach to cost control and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
• Previous Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer experience.
• Strong Australian infrastructure or construction experience.
• Experience with project delivery, programming, cost control and forecasting.
• Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with ownership of project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end delivery of projects.
• Work with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage project programs and schedules.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks.
• Assist with costings, budgets and project forecasting.
• Manage project variations and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors.
• Manage procurement and project resources.
• Oversee technical documentation, RFIs, ITPs and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Assist with project reporting and commercial administration.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Provide technical and project support to the wider delivery team.
