Job summary

CGC Recruitment in Australia is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a large Class 2 residential building project in Sydney. This contract runs through to the end of 2026 with a strong view to extend and an ASAP start.

You will lead engineering and delivery activities, coordinate with the project team, subcontractors and consultants, and ensure drawings, specifications and QA processes are met to drive project completion.

Qualifications

• Experience on large-scale residential or Class 2 projects.
• Strong technical and construction knowledge.
• Experience coordinating consultants, subcontractors and design teams.
• Australian construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and technical aspects of the project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and design teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries and design coordination.
• Assist with procurement and package management.
• Monitor progress against programme and project requirements.
• Ensure quality assurance and technical compliance.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders and project team.
• Support delivery through to project completion.
• Work with Site and Project Management teams to ensure delivery.
