Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Project Engineer - Civil & Structural with current RPEQ registration to support a major gas turbine power station project in Queensland. The role encompasses civil and structural scopes across EPC, and will start in the project office before transitioning to site on a 2:1 roster.

You will lead engineering deliverables, ensuring safety, compliance and project milestones. The successful candidate will collaborate across engineering, procurement and construction teams,

Qualifications

• Current RPEQ registration is mandatory.
• Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience delivering civil and/or structural scopes in power, energy, oil & gas, mining or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience as Project Engineer, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, or similar in major projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil and structural engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical support to ensure engineering deliverables align with construction and project requirements.
• Manage interfaces across engineering, procurement, quality, commercial, project controls and construction teams.
• Support project planning, forecasting, scheduling and progress reporting for assigned work packages.
• Manage technical queries, design changes and engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives to resolve technical and delivery matters.
• Monitor construction progress and provide engineering support to maintain safety, productivity and project milestones.
• Support construction readiness, commissioning activities and project close-out.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
