Job summary

Zenith Executive Search is seeking Senior Project Engineers for multiple opportunities across Queensland. Our clients range from road rehabs to large earthworks and pavements in the mining sector.

We want experienced PEs or SPEs aiming for Senior paths toward PM roles, with strong civil construction delivery experience and excellent coordination skills. RPEQ advantageous.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Project Engineer aiming for Senior level.
• Strong understanding of civil construction delivery processes.
• Experience with roadworks, structures, drainage, pavements.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and delivery support across multiple civil scopes.
• Coordinate site activities across Regional Queensland.
• Manage subcontractors, materials, plant and documentation.
• Support planning, procurement and cost control functions.

Job description

We are currently seeking Senior Project Engineer's for a number of opportunities across Queensland.

Our clients vary in size but there is similarity in scopes of work being delivered across the Regional Queensland area. Scopes cover everything from road rehabs (TMR spec), to small structural jobs to large earthworks & pavements packages within the mining sector.

We are looking to speak to experienced PE's or SPE's that are interested in joining reputable organisations with long term project pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and delivery support across multiple civil infrastructure scopes.
• Coordinate site activities across Regional Queensland
• Manage subcontractors, materials, plant, and technical documentation
• Support planning, programming, procurement, and cost control functions
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams

The Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Project Engineer looking to make the step in Senior Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer looking to continue on their path towards Project Management
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and project delivery processes
• Experience delivering roadworks, concrete structures, drainage, pavements, or associated civil infrastructure
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• RPEQ advantageous
