Job summary

Versatile Group is seeking Project Engineers to take ownership of internal fit-out and façade packages across high-profile mixed-use developments in CBD and city fringe locations in Sydney.

You will lead procurement through to completion, coordinate interfaces, manage subcontractors, and mentor junior engineers while driving program, cost, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Engineer on commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
• Ability to manage complex interfaces and subcontractors.
• Solid program and cost control capability.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of internal & façade scopes from procurement through to completion.
• Manage subcontractors, letting, and supplier negotiations.
• Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, and technical interfaces.
• Drive program, cost, quality, and compliance outcomes.
• Work closely with Project Managers, consultants, and site teams.
• Mentor junior engineers.
