Job summary

Martinus is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major Brisbane station development project. You will plan, coordinate and execute engineering works to deliver safely, on time and to specification.

Based in Brisbane, you will work with internal teams and subcontractors to manage design, construction and commissioning, monitor scope, program and budget, and ensure rail safety and quality management compliance throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural or related engineering required.
• Proven experience on rail or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of station precinct works or brownfield rail environments is valued.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and rail safety requirements.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in day-to-day delivery.
• Coordinate design, construction and commissioning activities.

• Support the Project Manager in day-to-day delivery of engineering works across the station development
• Coordinate design, construction, and commissioning activities with internal teams and subcontractors
• Monitor project scope, program, and budget, identifying and managing risks and issues as they arise
• Ensure compliance with rail safety standards, environmental requirements, and quality management systems
• Liaise with client representatives, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies throughout delivery
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure engineering integrity
• Contribute to progress reporting and project governance processes

About You
