Job summary

Monadelphous Group is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our operations team in Toowoomba on a permanent, full-time basis. You will support a long-term industrial maintenance and operations contract, working with a high-performing site team and building strong client relationships.

The role is based locally in Toowoomba with a Monday–Friday pattern and one Saturday per month. A strong safety culture and career development opportunities are offered within a leading ASX-listed company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (Australian recognised).
  • Experience in a site-based engineering role within mining, energy, resources or heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proactive approach and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support key project functions including Quality, Technical, Planning and Commercial activities.
  • Assist in development and management of project schedules, budgets and execution plans.
  • Prepare and maintain project reporting, data and commercial documentation.
  • Support tender preparation and project delivery activities.
  • Attend client and contractor meetings, providing practical engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to successful delivery of maintenance and project work while maintaining safety and quality.

Monadelphous is seeking a motivated and driven Project Engineer to join our operations team in a permanent, full-time position based in Toowoomba.

Supporting a long-term industrial maintenance and operations contract, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with a high-performing site team and build strong relationships with a key client. Working Monday to Friday, with approximately one Saturday per month, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.

This position is suited to candidates who are currently based in Toowoomba.
