Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our operations team in Toowoomba on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will support a long-term industrial maintenance and operations contract, coordinate with a high-performing site team, and help deliver safe, efficient project outcomes with regular weekday hours and occasional Saturday.

This role targets candidates based in Toowoomba who are ready to develop their career with a leading ASX-listed company.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (Australian recognised).
• Site-based engineering experience in mining, energy, resources or heavy industry.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and develop.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support project functions including Quality, Technical, Planning and Commercial activities.
• Assist in developing and managing project schedules, budgets and execution plans.
• Prepare and maintain project reporting and commercial documentation.
• Support tender preparation and project delivery activities.
• Attend client and contractor meetings, providing practical engineering solutions.
• Contribute to safe, high-quality delivery of maintenance and project work.

Monadelphous is seeking a motivated and driven Project Engineer to join our operations team in a permanent, full-time position based in Toowoomba.

Supporting a long‑term industrial maintenance and operations contract, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with a high‑performing site team and build strong relationships with a key client. Working Monday to Friday, with approximately one Saturday per month, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and high‑quality project outcomes.

This position is suited to candidates who are currently based in Toowoomba
