Job summary

Fetch Recruitment Pty is seeking a Project Engineer to join a leading civil contractor delivering diverse projects across Adelaide and South Australia. You will coordinate day‑to‑day project engineering activities and support delivery from planning through to handover.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in project or civil engineering, experience in subdivisions, earthworks, roads, drainage or utilities, and a strong grasp of project controls and engineering documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in a Project Engineer or Civil Engineer role within the civil construction industry.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure, subdivisions, earthworks, roads, drainage or utilities projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls and engineering documentation.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day project engineering activities across civil construction projects.
• Support project delivery from procurement and planning through to construction and handover.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, RFIs, technical documentation and project schedules.
• Monitor project costs, variations, progress claims and budgets.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with site teams, clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction challenges to keep projects moving.
