Job summary

Blackbook Recruitment is recruiting for a Project Electrical Technician based in Shepparton to support a leading dairy farming system supplier.

You will install and commission farming rotary systems, diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and service automation and sensor systems in the field across Northern Victoria. Join a team delivering large-scale projects and ensure peak performance for customers.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification or restricted electrical licence; strong field service background valued.
• Experience in mechatronics, manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Experience with agricultural or dairy equipment; installation, commissioning and servicing.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to learn and become a specialist in leading dairy technology.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission farming rotary systems.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Project Electrical Technician with our client, a leading dairy farming system supplier based in Shepparton.

Required to play a key role in the installation, commissioning of dairy farming equipment across Northern Victoria.

The Role

Working alongside experienced projects team on some of the most advanced dairy technology projects and you’ll be involved in delivering large-scale installations while providing ongoing technical support to ensure customers achieve maximum performance and reliability from their equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission of farming Rotary systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and automation faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Commission and service automation, control and sensor systems.
• Support customers to minimise downtime and optimise system performance.
• Work collaboratively with project teams, technical specialists and dairy producers to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Provide high-quality technical support and customer service in the field.

Your Background:

• An electrical trade qualification, Restricted Electrical Licence, or strong field service background will be highly regarded.
• Mechatronics, manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
• Experience working with agricultural or dairy equipment
• Equipment installation, commissioning and servicing
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• A willingness to learn and become a specialist in leading dairy technology.
