Job summary

Unknown is seeking an experienced electro-mechanical technician for a Sydney-based role. You will fault-find, test, repair and commission advanced automated equipment and manage related installation and overhauls.

You must hold an A-grade Electrical License, have a full driving license, be willing to travel to client sites (inter-state as needed), and have experience with HMI/control panels. The role is full-time in Sydney, NSW.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A-grade Electrical License.
• Must have a full driving license and willingness to travel to client sites, including inter-state travel.
• Experience with HMI, control panels or switchboards is required.
• Ability to plan, schedule and manage time as well as client relationships and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, testing, repairs and commissioning of electro-mechanical systems.
• Report on assembly/BOM/part number related matters.
• Set priorities and optimise plans and schedules using available systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electro-mechanical issues.
• Manage installation of machine modifications and perform complete machine overhauls.

We are partnering with a global company in construction manufacturing who specialise in innovative solutions, through their state-of-the-art technology and intelligent automation systems.

This is an exciting role that would suit someone who has a track record for working autonomously and has a passion for electro-mechanical automated equipment and systems.

About the Role

• Fault finding, testing, repairs and commissioning.

• Set priorities and use the systems available to ensure that plans and schedules are optimised.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electro-mechanical issues.
• Manage the installation of machine modifications and perform complete machine overhauls.

About You

• A-grade Electrical License
• Full driving license and willingness to travel to client sites including occasional inter-state travel
• HMI / Control Panel / Switchboard experience
• Ability to plan, schedule and manage your own time as well as client relationships and expectations

Job Type:Full-time, Permanent

Salary:$110K + Super + Maintained Company Vehicle & Fuel + OT Penalty Rates (guaranteed overtime)
