Job description

The Project Director leads the Underground Ventilation and Cooling Project, driving strategic alignment and delivering business objectives. Responsible for both study and execution phases, this role directs resources, budgets, and governance to ensure safe, on‑time, and cost‑effective project outcomes.

• Involved in the front end through to execution
• Play a crucial part in building an internal execution team.
• You will start in Perth then transition to a flexible 8/6 Roster
• Competitive day rate aligned to market

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the Study Team through capital stage gates to secure funding approvals and ensure all deliverables support safe and timely decision‑making.
• Oversee Execution Teams and resources to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the Project Execution Plan and Scope of Work, while making strategic governance decisions, managing budgets, compliance, and risk, and providing regular updates to senior management.
• Interface with consultants and internal teams to ensure cohesive execution, integrated planning, and performance delivery against contractual and organisational objectives.
