Job summary

Zeal Personnel seeks a motivated Lead Project Engineer to work with the owner's team on Gold Projects from study through commissioning. Based in Perth CBD, you will be on site on an 8 & 6 roster, supporting the Project Manager to deliver on budget, schedule and quality.

Key experience includes NPI, civil earthworks, TSF and HV/LV workshops. WA licence and NPC clearance are preferred. You will liaise with vendors, contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong NPI experience with civil earthworks and mining services.
• Design experience in civil earthworks/TSF and related packages.
• Proven ability to manage interfaces with vendors and contractors.
• Current WA driving licence and NPC clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager to deliver on budget, schedule and quality.
• Lead on-site engineering activities and interfaces with stakeholders.
• Prepare and adjudicate tender and contractor packages.
• Monitor performance of vendors and sub-contractors and provide on-site support.
• Coordinate project planning and progress reporting.

Working for a dynamic Engineering firm based in Perth CBD, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Project Engineer, working on behalf of the owner's team on Gold Projects from study through to commissioning.

About The Role

Based on site on an 8 & 6 roster, you will support the Project Manager to successfully deliver a mining project, by ensuring they are delivered on budget, within schedule and to a high level of quality.

The Scope Of Works Include

• NPI and Civil works
• HV & LV Workshops, Bore-field services, Offices, Changerooms
• TSF & Bulk Earthworks
• Assisting the Project Manager.
• Project planning and reporting.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, documents, specifications, and scopes.
• Preparing, adjudicating and awarding tender and contractor packages.
• Managing interfaces with vendors, contractors and sub-contractors.
• Monitoring performance of vendors, contractors and sub-contractors.
• Providing on-site construction support.
• Resolving technical and design issues.
• Liaising with key stakeholders on technical and project delivery aspects of projects.

About you:

• Strong NPI Experience is critical.
• HV & LV Workshops; Bore-field services; Offices; Changerooms experience ideal
• S26 would be favourable.
• Client-side roles are favourable.
• Section 26 (S26)
• Design experience in civil earthworks/ TSF
• Other Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) and other mining services/ project experience
• Civil Engineer/ or suitable equivalent
• Current WA Drivers Licence
• Current NPC or ability to clear one
