Trifecta Recruitment has partnered with a highly reputable Structures Contractor in Melbourne to appoint a Project Coordinator / Site Engineer. You will join a delivery team working on large-scale formwork, concrete and structural packages for Tier 1 and Tier 2 commercial builders. A strong leadership team supports staff development and a collaborative culture. The role offers exposure to major projects and a clear progression path.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years' experience as Project Coordinator, Site Engineer or Project Engineer in Commercial or Civil Structures.
• Local Australian construction experience is essential.
• Experience on structures, formwork or concrete packages is highly regarded.
• Multi-level structures experience would be preferred.
• Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
• Strong organisational and communication skills; able to work collaboratively in a project team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and delivery of large-scale structural packages.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, inspections and quality records.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely and on programme.
• Monitor project progress and assist with short-term programming.
• Liaise with Tier 1 builders, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Support the commercial and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Trifecta Recruitment have partnered with a highly reputable Structures Contractor who specialise in delivering large-scale formwork, concrete and structural packages for many of Melbourne's leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 Commercial builders. Their projects include high-rise apartments, commercial offices, hospitals and mixed-use developments, working on some of the state's most iconic builds.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Project Coordinator / Site Engineer to join their delivery team.

Your New Role

Working closely with the Project Manager and Structures Foremen, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the coordination and delivery of large-scale structural packages.
• Managing project documentation, RFIs, inspections and quality records.
• Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely and on programme.
• Monitoring project progress and assisting with short-term programming.
• Liaising with Tier 1 builders, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Supporting the commercial and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

You will gain exposure to some of Melbourne's largest commercial construction projects while working alongside an experienced leadership team.

What you need to succeed

• 2–5+ years' experience as a Project Coordinator, Site Engineer or Project Engineer within Commercial or Civil Structures.
• Local Australian construction experience is essential.
• Previous experience working on structures, formwork or concrete packages is highly regarded.
• Multi-level structures packages would be preferred
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
