Job summary

Atom Resources is seeking a Project Engineer to join a leading civil contractor delivering Formwork, Reinforcement & Concrete packages on major infrastructure projects across Sydney. You will work with the Project Manager, Site Engineers and Supervisors to ensure safe, on-time and on-budget delivery.

The role offers a clear path for career development, exposure to landmark projects, and mentoring to progress toward Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager roles.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' experience as a Project Engineer in civil or structural construction.
• Experience delivering FRP (Formwork, Reinforcement & Concrete) or major structural packages.
• Background with civil contractor or FRP subcontractor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver Formwork, Reinforcement & Concrete (FRP) packages
• Assist with project planning, programming and construction methodologies
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site activities
• Prepare and review ITPs, SWMS, methodologies and engineering documentation
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and programme performance
• Assist with project costs, variations and procurement
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

The Role

As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering major FRP packages from planning through to completion, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers and Supervisors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver Formwork, Reinforcement & Concrete (FRP) packages
• Assist with project planning, programming and construction methodologies
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site activities
• Prepare and review ITPs, SWMS, methodologies and engineering documentation
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and programme performance
• Assist with project costs, variations and procurement
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

About You
