Job summary

BlueScope Distribution in Australia is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Sales and Accounts Team based in Kewdale, WA. This permanent full-time role coordinates project activities, tracks deliverables and liaises with customers and vendors to ensure on-time, to-spec delivery.

You will work closely with Business Development Managers, Project Managers and operations, gaining exposure to Defence, Mining and Manufacturing sectors while developing project management and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Support, Customer Service or similar role.
• Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management systems.
• Experience within industrial, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, defence or project delivery environments.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to engage with customers, vendors and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track customer projects to ensure key milestones and delivery commitments are achieved.
• Create, maintain and monitor project schedules, tracking tools and reporting documentation.
• Support sales and production order management, providing accurate order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, dispatch, procurement and external vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Assist with quality assurance activities, auditing requirements and project documentation.
• Conduct customer and vendor site visits to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
