Job summary

ROUSSOS Recruitment is representing an established South Australian commercial builder with a growing pipeline of major construction projects valued at $20M and above. An opportunity is available for a Project Coordinator to join an experienced delivery team, working with senior project professionals to coordinate key activities from planning through to completion.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in Project Coordination or a similar construction role.
• Exposure to commercial construction projects, ideally valued at $20M+.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Understanding of project delivery, procurement and construction processes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Commercial awareness, accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day requirements of major commercial construction projects.
• Manage project documentation, registers and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractor procurement, engagement and onboarding.
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, milestones and upcoming deliverables.
• Assist with budgets, cost tracking, variations and progress claims.
• Support forecasting, financial reporting and commercial administration.
• Organise project meetings and track actions through to completion.
• Maintain accurate records and up-to-date project information.
• Identify issues early and help the team develop solutions.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager and working alongside the Site Manager, you will help coordinate the day‑to‑day requirements of major commercial construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing project documentation, registers and reporting requirements
• Coordinating subcontractor procurement, engagement and onboarding
• Liaising with consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders
• Monitoring project schedules, milestones and upcoming deliverables
• Assisting with budgets, cost tracking, variations and progress claims
• Supporting forecasting, financial reporting and commercial administration
• Organising project meetings and tracking actions through to completion
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring project information is up to date
• Assisting with site and project team requirements to maintain delivery progress
• Identifying issues early and helping the team develop practical solutions
