You will manage the online eDeveloper queue, maintain client relationships, review policies, assist Project Managers and Designers, and coordinate with Sydney Water and other authorities to progress applications from initiation to finalisation.

Job description

We are an infrastructure service company located in Minchinbury who are looking for a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. We expect a friendly and cooperative personality who can perform their duties in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy the daily challenge of taking ownership and responsibility for your role. You will need to be proactive.

As a licensed water servicing coordinator, RAR’s role (in consultation with Sydney Water) is to assist in the management of:

  • Section 73 Certificate works and any adjustment or deviation of Sydney Water assets.
  • Applications for approval to build over or next to assets (Tap-in and eDeveloper)
  • The coordination of the building plan approval process (In-scope and Out of Scope).

In this role, you will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Management of an online eDeveloper queue,
  • Maintaining existing client relationships and managing ongoing projects,
  • Review Sydney Water policies and guidelines to advise clients or requirements,
  • Assist Project Managers and Designers as required,
  • Liaison with Sydney Water through all stages of a project; from application, correspondence relating to approval matters through to finalisation.
  • Actioning and filing of correspondence to and from clients, Sydney Water, authorities, and contractors.
  • Liaising, coordinating, and negotiating with Sydney Water and other authorities.

To be considered for this position you will have the ability to successfully multitask and communicate at a high level, requiring the following skills and experience:

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Confident, all-rounder with decision making ability.
  • Ability to work both within a team and autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ensuring documents are comprehensive, accurate and comply with relevant policies and guidelines,
  • Using sound judgement in competing demands and tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Coordinate the preparation of sensitive and often urgent case information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word and Excel skills.
Desirable but not essential skills and attributes:
  • Previous experience in Building Plan Approvals or the Section 73 process
  • Previous experience working on a project or Project Administration, Project Coordination or Site Administration experience.
  • Land development experience.
  • Experience with dealing with Sydney Water and/or eDeveloper accreditation.
