Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP). You will coordinate across multiple workstreams, support governance and reporting, and help manage risks and dependencies to keep the program on track for delivering critical aviation network improvements.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and a proven ability to handle complex, fast-paced environments while maintaining rigorous governance and controls.

Qualifications

• Five years+ experience in program and/or project delivery.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, consultation and facilitation skills.
• Experience with geographically dispersed project teams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coordination and support across assigned projects, including meetings, workshops, and project controls.
• Coordinate reporting and governance activities with the ENMP PMO.
• Maintain and monitor project risks, issues, decisions, changes, dependencies and documentation.
• Track project schedules, deliverables, dependencies, actions and approvals.
• Develop regular project updates and progress reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across technical, engineering, vendor and dispersed teams.
• Support site delivery activities including site surveys, contractor works and access requirements.
• Assist with project financial activities including purchase orders and supplier arrangements.
• Support stakeholder meetings, workforce coordination and project resourcing.
• Identify opportunities to improve project administration and coordination processes.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of strategic technology and business initiatives by providing coordination, governance, planning and stakeholder support across a complex program environment. Working with project managers, technical specialists, business stakeholders and vendors, you will help ensure projects remain aligned, informed and on track to deliver outcomes that enhance Airservices Australia's future capability.

The Role & The Team

Airservices Australia is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP).

ENMP is a multi-year transformation program modernising Airservices' operational and corporate networks, including the transition to a new IP network incorporating terrestrial, microwave and satellite technologies and a managed service provider model. These networks underpin critical services across Australia’s aviation environment.

As Project Coordinator, you will act as the operational backbone of the program, helping to bring structure, visibility and momentum to a complex technology transformation supporting the future of Australian aviation. You will coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, manage governance and reporting activities, track risks, issues and dependencies, and support informed decision-making across a diverse stakeholder landscape. Working closely with project managers, business leaders, technical teams and suppliers, you will help ensure delivery objectives are achieved while maintaining strong governance, accountability and stakeholder engagement.

You will:

• Provide day-to-day coordination and support across assigned projects, including meetings, workshops, communications and project controls.
• Coordinate reporting and governance activities, working closely with the ENMP PMO.
• Maintain and monitor project risks, issues, decisions, changes, dependencies and project documentation.
• Track project schedules, deliverables, dependencies, actions and approvals.
• Develop regular project updates and progress reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across technical, engineering, vendor and geographically dispersed project teams.
• Support site delivery activities including site surveys, contractor works, equipment installation and access requirements.
• Assist with project financial activities, including purchase orders, expenses, supplier arrangements and liaison with finance.
• Support stakeholder meetings, workshops, workforce coordination and project resourcing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve project administration and coordination processes.

You'll bring:

• Strong organisational, interpersonal, consultation and facilitation skills.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed project teams.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
• An understanding of project management and delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
