Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking a Project Coordinator in a fast-paced technology service delivery environment. You will provide coordination, governance, planning and stakeholder support across a complex program.

Working with project managers, technical specialists, business stakeholders and vendors, you will help ensure projects remain aligned, informed and on track to deliver outcomes that enhance Airservices Australia's future capability.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in program or project delivery, especially in service transition or migration environments.
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coordination and delivery support across assigned technology projects and programs.
• Coordinate project meetings, governance forums and stakeholder activities.
• Maintain project controls including risks, issues, decisions, changes, dependencies and key project documentation.
• Develop and distribute regular project updates, reports and detailed schedules.
• Track project deliverables, dependencies, documentation and approvals.
• Support project financial activities, including purchase orders and supplier setup and liaison with finance.
• Coordinate activities across technical, engineering, vendor and geographically dispersed project teams.
• Support site coordination activities, including site surveys, contractor works, equipment installation and site access requirements.
• Work closely with the PMO to ensure reporting, governance, finance and information management requirements are met.
• Support project resourcing activities, including onboarding, offboarding, travel and workforce coordination.

The Role & The Team

Technology Service Delivery is responsible for a range of programs and projects that maintain and enhance the operational and corporate networks supporting Airservices’ critical aviation services across Australia.

As Project Coordinator, you will act as the operational backbone of the program, helping to bring structure, visibility and momentum to a complex technology transformation supporting the future of Australian aviation. You will coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, manage governance and reporting activities, track risks, issues and dependencies, and support informed decision-making across a diverse stakeholder landscape. Working closely with project managers, business leaders, technical teams and suppliers, you will help ensure delivery objectives are achieved while maintaining strong governance, accountability and stakeholder engagement.

As a Project Coordinator, you will:

To be successful, you will bring:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, consultation and facilitation skills.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed project teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Sound understanding of project management and delivery practices.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
