Job summary

Sonder Executive is seeking a technically minded Project Coordinator to support the capital projects portfolio across multiple Australian sites. The role reports to the Head of Capital Projects and involves coordinating schedules, plans, documents and stakeholder liaison across diverse engineering projects.

You will travel regionally as required and build exposure to full project lifecycles. Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree with a project management background, strong AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Engineering or PM background required.
• 2D AutoCAD experience; 3D modelling exposure an asset.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain master project schedules and monitor milestones.
• Assist with development of project plans, schedules, scopes, and documentation.
• Maintain engineering drawings, docs, standards, and specifications.
• Provide project progress updates to stakeholders.
• Liaise with PMs, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Visit project sites to support CAPEX delivery.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Capital Projects, this role will support the coordination, monitoring and reporting of capital projects across multiple business units and sites.

Working across a broad portfolio of engineering projects, your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintain master project schedules and monitor key milestones and deliverables
• Assist with the development of project plans, schedules, scopes and documentation
• Maintain engineering drawings, technical documents, standards and specifications
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with project managers, engineering consultants, contractors and suppliers
• Visit project sites as required to support the delivery of the capital project portfolio

Your Background

You are a technically minded and highly organised Project Coordinator who enjoys working across multiple engineering projects and stakeholders. You will also have:

• Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Process Engineering, Project Management background with an interest in developing your project management career
• 2D AutoCAD engineering drawing experience with exposure to 3D modelling ideal
• Strong technical and report writing capability
• Proficiency across Microsoft Project and Office
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing project environment
• Driver's licence and willingness to undertake occasional regional/interstate travel
