Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to support Heathrow Airport infrastructure projects. You will help develop baselines, report performance, and manage costs and risks across multiple workstreams.

The role requires strong Excel and IT skills, the ability to produce timely high-quality reports, and proactive collaboration with multiple departments. Experience in Project Controls and NEC4 contracts is preferable.

Qualifications

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
  • Ability to perform assignments independently with supervision and guidance as required.
  • Ability to deliver timely high-quality reports.
  • Good level of proactivity and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Good relationship skills with other Departments/Functions.
  • Good knowledge on measuring civil engineering works.
  • Experience in Project Controls is preferable.
  • Understanding of NEC4 contracts is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support on a portfolio of projects to obtain and report performance, cost and risks according to contract requirements.
  • Develop project baselines across scope, time, cost, risk and schedule updates; forecast to complete; variance explanations; opportunities for improvement and earned value management.
  • Elaborate and report dashboards and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with departments to verify and assure the quality of information.
