Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to support cost, schedule, progress and forecasting across our infrastructure projects in Brisbane. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to keep controls data accurate and current, and contribute to successful delivery.

You'll bring a degree in engineering or related field and hands-on experience with project controls, scheduling and cost control, plus proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project and Excel for reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• Experience in project controls, planning, scheduling or cost control.
• Proficient with Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience in multidisciplinary infrastructure or EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of project controls systems.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor progress against plan and identify variances and delays.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare project controls reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Support identification and tracking of project risks and changes.
• Collaborate across engineering, procurement and construction teams.

About the Opportunity

As Project Controls Engineer, you will support the planning, monitoring and control of project performance across cost, schedule, progress and forecasting. You will work closely with project teams to monitor performance, identify risks and variances, and provide accurate reporting that supports successful delivery. You will maintain project schedules, track cost commitments and forecasts, and support integration between engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities, working across multidisciplinary teams to keep project controls information accurate and current.
