Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking an MEP Section Engineer for Heathrow Airport, overseeing multiple work packages to ensure safe, efficient delivery to schedule. You will coordinate with commercial teams, site engineers and suppliers, maintaining quality records and timely inspections.

The role requires strong leadership, Civil/MEP engineering knowledge, and experience managing subcontractors within a large-scale infrastructure project. On-site work and adherence to RAMS are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or engineering‑management role within MEP/infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and civil/MEP engineering best practice.
• Commercial awareness with contract administration and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Promote health, safety and environmental compliance across the project.
• Supervise subcontractors and engineers, ensuring RAMS and construction methods are followed.
• Coordinate drawings, specs and 3D model information for construction readiness.
• Develop short-term programmes (2–4 weeks) with stakeholders to maintain progress.
• Maintain records, inspections and ITPs in line with contractual requirements.
