Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a Project Administrator to support their mining and minerals project teams from their Brisbane office. The role focuses on day-to-day administration, meeting coordination and document management to ensure timely, accurate project communications.

You will liaise with clients and suppliers, assist with travel logistics, and contribute to a collaborative project office environment with a flexible start/finish schedule.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident communication skills across teams.
  • Experience in project administration, office coordination or document support.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers and teams with day-to-day project administration, coordination and communication activities.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, arranging rooms or catering, and recording meeting minutes.
  • Organise project-related travel, accommodation and rostered site travel arrangements.
  • Prepare, format, proofread and maintain project documents, reports, presentations and correspondence to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage project-related correspondence, records and administrative enquiries.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to support project communication and administration.
  • Provide basic document control support, including filing, revision tracking and maintaining project records.
  • Support day-to-day project office coordination and office requirements.
  • Assist with purchase orders and expense-related administration.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities.

The Role

Join DRA as a Project Administrator and support our project teams across our mining and minerals projects.

  • Support project managers and project teams with day-to-day project administration, coordination and communication activities.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, arranging rooms or catering, and recording meeting minutes as required.
  • Organise project-related travel, accommodation and rostered site travel arrangements for project team members.
  • Prepare, format, proofread and maintain project documents, reports, presentations and correspondence to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage project-related correspondence, records and administrative enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to support effective project communication and administration.
  • Provide basic document control support where required, including filing, formatting, revision tracking and maintaining accurate project records under the guidance of the document control team.
  • Support day-to-day project office coordination, including workstations for new starters, meeting rooms, stationery, catering, refreshments and general office requirements.
  • Assist with purchase orders and expense-related administration as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn new systems, support changing project priorities and assist across administrative and document support activities.
About You
  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration and/or experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams
  • Previous experience in project administration, office coordination or document support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
