Implicor in Australia is seeking a proactive Systems Accountant to bridge numbers, technology, and operations. You will lead the support, maintenance, and optimization of our financial systems, notably MYOB Acumatica, while driving reporting efficiencies and data integrity.

You will collaborate with Finance, Payroll, IT and Operations, develop financial reports and dashboards, manage costing and inventory tasks, and support month-end processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Proven background in a Systems Accountant, Finance Systems, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems; MYOB Acumatica experience is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Systems Administration: Manage, support, and troubleshoot the ERP system (Acumatica) and broader financial systems.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, assist with system upgrades, and implement automation to streamline workflows.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Develop, build, and refine financial reports and dashboards to assist decision-making.
• Costing & Inventory: Maintain and review standard costs of raw materials, labour, and overheads; assist with inventory valuation and reconciliations.
• Month-End Support: Assist with month-end reporting and financial reconciliation processes.
• Collaboration: Act as the liaison between Finance, Payroll, IT, and Operations to resolve system queries.

Working closely with Finance, Payroll, IT, and Operations, you will lead the support, maintenance, and optimization of our financial systems—specifically MYOB Acumatica (ERP)—while driving reporting efficiencies and maintaining robust data integrity.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven background in a Systems Accountant, Finance Systems, or similar role.
• System Savvy: Strong hands‑on experience with ERP systems. Previous experience with MYOB Acumatica is highly advantageous.
• Costing Knowledge: Familiarity with standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and data reporting skills.
• Attributes: Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical problem‑solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse departments.
