Job summary

Allygroup is seeking an experienced Program Reporting Specialist to support a large-scale government transformation program, establishing and maintaining program reporting, performance monitoring and governance activities. The role spans multiple business and technology workstreams, delivering weekly, monthly and executive reporting, dashboards and artefacts to keep executives informed for decision-making.

Program Reporting Specialist (EL1-equivalent)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Program Reporting Specialist to support a large-scale government transformation program.

Allygroup is supporting an Australian Government client seeking an experienced reporting and governance professional to contribute to a complex, multi-stream transformation environment. This role will play a key part in establishing and maintaining program reporting, performance monitoring and governance activities, ensuring executive stakeholders have access to clear, accurate and timely information to support decision-making.

The successful candidate will work across multiple business and technology workstreams, providing reporting, analysis and governance support to a major reform initiative with significant organisational and operational impact.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Baseline Security Clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining integrated program reporting frameworks, standards and templates.
• Coordinating the collection and consolidation of reporting inputs from multiple stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Producing high-quality weekly, monthly and executive reporting products.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards, performance scorecards and governance artefacts.
• Monitoring program performance against milestones, schedules and delivery objectives.
• Analysing risks, issues, dependencies and emerging delivery trends.
• Preparing reports, presentations and briefing materials for executive governance forums.
• Supporting benefits realisation reporting and performance monitoring activities.
• Contributing to assurance, audit and review activities through the provision of reporting and evidence.
• Identifying opportunities for reporting process improvement and automation.

About you

• A minimum of five years' experience delivering program reporting, portfolio reporting or PMO reporting services within large and complex government environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing executive dashboards, governance reporting and performance reporting frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex delivery information.
• Experience supporting executive governance forums and senior stakeholders through high-quality reporting and briefing materials.
• Experience working within structured governance, assurance and audit environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working across multiple delivery teams and workstreams within large transformation programs.

Highly regarded

• Experience supporting large-scale transformation, reform or regulatory change programs.
• Experience working within Agile, SAFe or hybrid delivery environments.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or similar delivery management platforms.
• Experience developing automated reporting solutions and data visualisation capabilities.
• Qualifications or certifications in Project Management, Program Management, PMO or related disciplines.
