Job summary

Queensland Government in Brisbane is seeking a Principal Program Officer to lead reviews, appraisals, projects and initiatives that support the delivery of services in line with strategic plans.

You will use data analytics and Excel to summarise, analyse and generate insights for internal and external stakeholders, and prepare cabinet submissions, executive briefs and reports. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders to inform decisions and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to use data analytics to assess processes and inform decisions.
• Ability to design and undertake policy analysis and review work.
• Experience preparing high-level materials for cabinet submissions and executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and implement reviews, appraisals, and projects in support of strategic plans.

• Prepare cabinet submissions, executive correspondence, briefing material, reports, and presentations.
