Job summary

Youth Justice and Victim Support Brisbane is seeking a Principal Program Officer to design and develop reviews, projects, and initiatives that improve outcomes for youth and victims. You will work with the Manager to ensure timely, high-standard deliverables, engage stakeholders, and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience using data analytics to assess processes and provide insights.
• Ability to summarise large datasets and present findings clearly.
• Proven capability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to prepare structured written materials such as briefs and reports.
• Experience contributing to reviews, appraisals, projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate cultural capability and support inclusive culture per Human Rights Act 2019.
• Develop, manage, and implement reviews, appraisals, and projects aligned with plans.
• Use data analytics to deliver data-driven insights to stakeholders.
• Use Excel to summarise, analyse and explore large datasets.
• Gather information and provide strategic analysis on complex program issues.
• Coordinate and manage project activities for on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Engage in consultation and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare written materials including cabinet submissions, executive correspondence, briefings, and slides.
• Work in a team and promote an accountable, supportive, and equitable environment.
• Maintain positive connections with central, regional, and staff to enable service delivery improvement.
