Job summary

HealthWISE Community Ltd. is seeking a motivated Program Officer to support primary health care programs across the New England North West region on a 7-month contract.

You will help with referral management, program administration, reporting, stakeholder communication, and quality improvement to deliver client-focused care. In this role, you will work with HealthWISE staff, clinicians, health services, Aboriginal Health Services, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated, culturally safe

Qualifications

• Experience in program administration, preferably within a primary health care setting.
• Strong organisational, communication, data management, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Respectful understanding of Aboriginal communities and culture.
• Experience using patient management systems.
• Current unrestricted NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel.

• Assist with program administration, contracts, data collection, reporting, and invoicing processes.
• Maintain accurate records in HealthWISE systems and contribute to program deliverables.

In this role, you will support the delivery of primary health care programs by assisting with referral management, program administration, reporting, stakeholder communication, and continuous quality improvement. You will work closely with HealthWISE staff, clinicians, general practitioners, health services, Aboriginal Health Services, and other stakeholders to help deliver coordinated and client-focused care.
