Job summary

The Department of Health is seeking a Program Manager for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Client Management System (MHWCMS) to lead the end-to-end delivery of large ICT health programs across Victoria. You will steer design, roadmap and delivery, aligning with strategic objectives and governance frameworks.

Role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering high-quality digital health solutions for mental health services across Victoria.

Qualifications

• Identifies and responds to new and emerging strategic issues impacting on the operating environment.
• Provides and receives highly complex, contentious or sensitive information where high levels of negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Subject matter expert that conceptualises, initiates, implements, promotes and evaluates complex and innovative technical programs.
• Proficiency and expertise has significant impact on the capability to deliver the policy agenda, program or project initiative.
• Draft and develop material including the preparation of Cabinet and Cabinet related material, Ministerial and Secretary briefings and meeting papers, agendas, minutes and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large and complex ICT digital health programs within the Department of Health.
• Oversee planning, execution, monitoring and reporting to ensure project objectives and benefits realization.
• Manage and lead multidisciplinary teams across government and external partners.
• Apply structured project management methodologies to manage scope, risks, resources and compliance.
