Job summary

The Department of Health in Victoria is seeking a Manager, Community and Statewide Programs to lead a team responsible for commissioning, implementing and overseeing statewide mental health services. Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in public administration or health is required.
• Expertise in health system reform is desirable.
• Strong understanding of the Victorian health system is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for commissioning, implementation and performance oversight of community and statewide mental health services across Victoria.
• Provide leadership and support to staff and oversee complex reform initiatives.
• Engage with service providers and stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with government priorities and funding requirements.
• Prepare and present reports, ministerial briefs, and agency submissions on complex matters.
