Job summary

The Victorian Department of Health invites applications for the role of Manager, Community and Statewide Programs. You will lead a team delivering commissioning, implementation and performance oversight of mental health services across Victoria, including Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in public administration or health or a related field is required.
• Expertise in health system reform is desirable.
• A strong understanding of the Victorian health system and department processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for commissioning, implementation and performance oversight of community and statewide mental health services.
• Ensure services align with government priorities, funding requirements and service expectations.
• Provide leadership to staff and stakeholders and oversee complex projects and reform initiatives.
• Deliver on time and within budget with high-quality reports and ministerial submissions.
