Responsibilities

• Lead MVP validation with legacy clients, partnering with product and engineering to confirm platform fit and identify capability gaps before full-scale rollout.
• Design the end-to-end automation strategy covering data conversion, configuration migration, and training to eliminate manual effort across client migrations.
• Build the migration operating model.
• Define technical readiness requirements with engineering, including automation tooling, testing frameworks, and quality gates before launch.
• Establish and run governance structures and cadences to align product, engineering, onboarding, and client success teams.
• Partner with onboarding to design a scaled training and change management program.
• Lead client segmentation and sequencing in collaboration with client success, prioritizing migrations based on configuration complexity, relationship strength, and commercial profile.

Large-scale cloud migrations don't run themselves — they need a seasoned Program Manager who can turn complexity into momentum.

THE ROLE

Our client is embarking on a major multi-year cloud transition, migrating clients from a legacy platform to a modern cloud-based solution. This is a permanent opportunity based in Melbourne or Sydney, offering the chance to own the master migration program from strategy through to scaled execution

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Lead MVP validation with representative legacy clients, partnering with product and engineering to confirm platform fit and identify capability gaps before full-scale rollout
• Design the end-to-end automation strategy covering data conversion, configuration migration, and at-scale client training to eliminate manual effort across client migrations
• Build the migration operating model
• Define technical readiness requirements with engineering, including automation tooling, testing frameworks, and quality gates required before launch
• Establish and run governance structures (steering committees, working groups) and regular cadences to keep product, engineering, onboarding, and client success teams aligned
• Partner with onboarding to design a scaled training and change management program

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale technology migration or transformation programs
• Strong background in cloud platform transitions, SaaS migrations, or enterprise system change programs
• Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management and governance design skills
• Experience building migration playbooks, operating models, and automation strategies from scratch
• Comfortable working across product, engineering, commercial, and client-facing teams simultaneously
• Strong communication and program planning skills, with the ability to manage risk and build momentum across a multi-year timeline

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with scaled client onboarding or change management programs
• Familiarity with data migration tooling and configuration automation approaches
