Job summary

Transport For NSW in Sydney is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the end-to-end development and delivery of complex Active Transport programs. You will shape strategic priorities, build business cases, secure funding and governance approvals, and drive outcomes across a multi-stakeholder environment.

You will collaborate with local councils, government agencies and delivery partners to maximise community benefits, while aligning initiatives with NSW transport goals and policy directions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in program management and running complex initiatives.

• Experience in government or infrastructure sectors is desirable.

In this role, you'll

• Work as part of a team delivering critical Active Transport programs that connect communities, promote sustainable travel choices and improve outcomes for people across NSW.
• This role will see you lead the end-to-end development and delivery of complex programs and grants initiatives, from shaping strategic priorities and business cases through to securing funding, governance approvals and successful implementation.
• You will drive investment outcomes, build strong partnerships and deliver community benefits in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment involving local councils, government agencies and delivery partners.

About You

Your program management, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning expertise, formed across government, infrastructure, transport or related sectors, will see you excel in delivering complex programs, navigating competing priorities and translating strategic objectives into funded and achievable outcomes.

You're recognised as a collaborative and influential leader, skilled at building trusted relationships, securing stakeholder buy-in and managing multiple interdependent initiatives.

Experience in program delivery, business case development, grants management and working across government environments will position you to succeed while contributing to the growth and future direction of Active Transport across NSW.
